WA Industry Link is an initiative to provide local businesses, in particular small and medium sized enterprises, with more opportunity to compete for State Government contracts.
WA Industry Link is the State Government’s first step towards ensuring the $27 billion spent annually on State Government procurement supports local businesses and creates more jobs for Western Australians.
WA Industry Link consists of the implementation of the Western Australian Industry Participation Strategy, the Industry Link Advisory Service, regionally based Local Content Advisers and an online portal. WA Industry Link has been implemented and is managed by Industry Participation.
Local contractors must complete and submit a participation plan as part of their tender bid for State Government contracts that are above relevant monetary thresholds.
