Australian Marine Complex-Common User Facility celebrates 15 years

Premier Mark McGowan today congratulated the Australian Marine Complex-Common User Facility (AMC-CUF) in Henderson for 15 successful years of operation.

The State Government-owned asset aims to capitalise on growing potential in marine, defence, mining, and oil and gas industries by enabling delivery of major engineering projects in WA.

The AMC-CUF has generated $2.5 billion for the local economy and created more than 40,000 jobs through 440 projects over the past 15 years.

The Common User Facility has a broad market focus and has been designed so a number of projects can be undertaken concurrently by different companies.

This strategic infrastructure is unique in Australia with the diversity of work ranging from oil and gas operators, Department of Defence, mining companies and ship building.
